Melrose Merchants: Special Crime Meeting

Given the recent rash of “smash & grab” type robberies and other crime activities, Melrose BID & LAPD Wilshire Division are hosting a special meeting on Wednesday, September 6 @ 9:00 AM at Greenway Court Theater (544 N Fairfax Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90036) to discuss crime prevention and hardening the target during the upcoming holiday shopping season.

Captain Sonia Monico, our Senior Lead Officers and many uniformed personnel will be in attendance, along with BID leaders and security ambassadors. It’s important that Melrose merchants and property owners attend. If you have security teams, they should join us as well. We encourage being there in person, but we’ll attempt to make the meeting available by Zoom in case you can’t.

Because school has resumed, non-police vehicles will not have access to school parking, so please arrive early to grab one of the on-street metered spaces.
