When the statewide shutdown took effect on December 5, 2020, many stores and restaurants in the Melrose Arts District had to temporarily close down for the second time. Now that Gov. Gavin Newsom has lifted stay-at-home orders across the state in response to improving coronavirus conditions, many will be re-opening their doors and patios as soon as this weekend.
Following is a list of many of our businesses that will be reopening or are currently open. It is by no means comprehensive, so if you’re planning on visiting your favorite shops and restaurants on Melrose, be sure to check their websites and social for status and hours.
